I am Jhimly, originally from India. I came to USA in 2002 to do my PhD from Texas Woman’s University. My dissertation research was focused on the study of antidepressant Fluoxetine and it’s involvement in developing sexual dysfunction in rats. My last postdoctoral research in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign was centered on assessing the potential health risks of dietary estrogens on behavior and brain development. I will be joining Dr. Jamie Maguire’s lab in Tufts University Medical School in Boston as a postdoctoral fellow very soon. I am very excited to learn new techniques, especially electrophysiology in her lab. I love to cook and paint. I also enjoy long drive on a sunny day.
