I am currently a rising high school senior at Boston Latin School. Science and math are my favorite subjects. I took Biology II this year which was fascinating and my favorite unit was neurology. I had a great introductory experience to medicine at Harvard Medical in their MedScience program offered through my school this past fall. I am a part of the Tuft's Teaching and High School Students Program (TAHSS) which has allowed me this incredible opportunity of working in a neuroscience lab and gaining some valuable class time in Anatomy and Physical Diagnosis. Currently, I am working here in the Maguire lab on a project which involves examining the role of the GABAAR delta subunit in GnRH neurons in mice that have been subjected to chronic stress and how this affects fertility. I am a rower and captain of the BLS Crew team so when I am not in the classroom or in the lab, I enjoy rowing on the Charles River!
